Short Wine Glass with plain drawn trumpet stem, English, c.1740

Drawn trumpet bowl supported on a plain stem, with a folded conical foot. Expected wear to the underside edge of the base and a rough pontil mark.

Condition: Very Good - no chips, cracks, restoration, or polishing. There are a few minor surface scratches, inclusions and impurities to the glass. Owing to the handblown nature of this early wine glass, the drawn trumpet bowl is not perfectly conical.

Dimensions: Height 11.4 cm
