A Chelsea Knife, circa 1750-52

This large white knife haft is moulded with a lily rising from radiating scrolled leaves at the base. Fitted with a steel blade and a scalloped silver ferrule. The blade is stamped GRAY or BRAY.

Provenance: An English Private Collection.

Condition: A small section has been restuck close to the ferrule, and there is a short, faint hairline.
