A Meissen quatrelobe Saucer, circa 1760
This Meissen saucer of quatrelobe form is painted with floral sprays and sprigs, including a rose and a narcissus.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark and overglaze red enamel letters, possibly TLA.
Condition: Good – no damage or restoration, just a little surface wear and a flake to the enamel on the narcissus. From manufacture, there is a tiny glazed clay tear between each of the lobes, and a glazed slither to the foot rim, as well as pinholes to the body.
