A Liverpool tin-glazed Tile decorated with a Sadler print, circa 1758-61
This John Sadler (1720-89) tin-glazed tile is printed in black with a scene depicting a gentleman playing the flute to a seated girl singing, within a rococo border.
Provenance: Jonathan Horne, London.
Condition: Good – no cracks or restoration, just a shallow loss to the top edge.
Dimensions: 12.7 cm across
