A pair of small delftware Plates, Bristol or London, circa 1740
Of simple pancake form and painted in a naive style with a bird perched on a leafy branch. The rhomboid leaf design is echoed in the border.
Condition: Excellent – no cracks or restoration, just tiny areas of glaze crawl and minor flakes to the fragile tin glaze around the edges.
